Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and unrestricted.sh. Please read them together with the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms, and the Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

unrestricted.sh is a personally owned business registered in Denmark.

In these terms, "we" and "us" means unrestricted.sh, and "the service" means the unrestricted.sh website, the chat playground, the API, and the setup tool.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.

3. Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 years old. You may not use the service if the law that applies to you forbids it, or if we have closed an account of yours before.

4. Your account

  • You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep access to that inbox secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share your account.
  • API keys give full access to your credit. Keep them secret, and revoke a key straight away if you think it has leaked.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account and your API keys.

Emails

We send service emails to every account: sign-in links, low-balance alerts, and notices about changes to our prices, these terms or the service. Product update emails, about new models, features and offers, are optional. When you create an account on the sign-up form we send them unless you tick the box there. If you buy credit, we send them unless you say no at checkout. Every product update email has an unsubscribe link, and you can switch them off on the Account page at any time.

5. The service

The service gives you access to language models that are built to help with legitimate work instead of refusing it. Their answers can be inaccurate, offensive, or unsafe, and no person reviews them before you receive them. What you may not use the service for is set out in the Acceptable Use Policy, and it applies to every request.

We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Models may need time to start after a period without use. To keep capacity fair, we limit how the service is used; for example, an account can have up to three requests running at a time. We may change, add, or remove models, features, and limits.

6. Credit, prices, and payment

  • The service is prepaid. You add credit in US dollars, and each request uses credit at the per-token prices shown on the site when you make the request.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe and sold through Link, which acts as the merchant of record. Link's terms apply to the payment itself. Taxes are added at checkout where they apply.
  • Credit does not expire. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
  • A request that is already running finishes its accounting when it ends, so a balance can end slightly below zero. That amount is deducted from your next top-up.
  • New accounts may receive a small welcome credit, and your first top-up of $10 or more may come with bonus credit. Both are promotional offers: each is limited to one per person, the welcome credit is also limited per network, neither can be refunded, and we may change or end either offer at any time. We may withhold or remove them when we see signs of abuse.
  • API keys are available to every account. We may limit API access for accounts that have not paid.
  • We may change prices. New prices apply to requests made after the change is published on the site.

Refunds

Credit and plan payments made on or after 28 October 2026 are non-refundable, whether you have used the credit or not, and including any unused part of a plan period. This does not limit any refund the law gives you, or the refunds in sections 9 and 13. If a top-up that came with bonus credit is refunded, the bonus credit is removed.

Purchases made before 28 October 2026 keep the earlier rule: you can ask for a refund of unused credit within 14 days of the purchase by emailing support@unrestricted.sh.

7. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. A model answering a request does not make that use lawful or allowed.

8. Your prompts and outputs

  • You keep any rights you have in the prompts you send.
  • As far as we are able, we give you any rights we have in the outputs generated for you. Similar prompts can produce similar outputs for other users, so outputs are not guaranteed to be unique.
  • We do not save or log your prompts or outputs. They pass through our servers and our network and GPU providers only to generate the reply, and the GPU server keeps recent context in memory for a short time to answer follow-up requests faster. Chat history in the playground is kept only in your browser.
  • You are responsible for your prompts and for how you use the outputs, including checking them before you rely on them.

9. Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using the service at any time. You can delete your account on the Account page, or ask us to by emailing support@unrestricted.sh. Remaining credit is not refunded when you delete your account, except where the law requires it.

We may suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if the law requires it, or if your use puts the service, other users, or third parties at risk.

  • If we close your account for a breach of these terms, remaining credit is not refunded, except where the law requires it.
  • If we close your account for any other reason, or stop offering the service, we refund your remaining paid credit. Welcome credit is not refunded.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Outputs may be wrong, incomplete, offensive, or harmful, and they are not professional advice of any kind, including medical, legal, or financial advice. As far as the law allows, we make no promises about the service beyond those in these terms.

11. Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data, or lost business.
  • Our total liability to you for all claims connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
  • If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms reduces the rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

12. Business use

If you use the service for a business, you will cover the costs, damages, and reasonable legal fees that arise from claims against us caused by your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or by the use of outputs in your products.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. We will email you at least 14 days before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and you can ask for a refund of your unused paid credit.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes are handled by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country, and you can also bring a claim in its courts.

Consumers in Denmark can also file a complaint with the Danish Consumer Complaints Board, Nævnenes Hus.
